Saturday September 13th and Sunday September 14th
Held at Canine Academy, Tollerton Lane, Tollerton, Nottingham Due to popular demand, Denise Mcleod, owner and head trainer at CaDeLac dog training is now offering a number of weekend training courses for those wishing to develop their skills with their dog, improve their ability to run, or begin to run, pet dog training classes.
With a lifetime experience of working with and training animals, 17 years of instructors experience and 7 years of running CaDeLac, one of the largest dog training schools in the UK, Denise offers a wealth of experience to her audience. Denise has adopted training techniques from the worlds of agility, obedience, gundog, behaviour, sheepdog training, police and the military forces, to bring an all-encompassing solution to the pet dog owner and trainer.
As well as offering an insight into pet dog training as an activity I itself, these courses will be a truthful account of the skill requirements, the highs the lows, the joys, the sadness, of working with dogs in a teaching and counselling role. And a few funny tales along the way…..
“The role of dog training instructor is not for everyone – it is not all fun and joy” Denise comments. “The purpose of this course is to enable those that are interested to have a real insight into what is required. To see if it really is for them and to find out if they have what it takes” she continues. “The courses will also offer a new look at the way a dog views the world and how any dog owner can improve their relationship and training methods with their pet dog”.
