Meet the Team........

Annie Finlay

Annie has been been around dogs all of her life. Her parents bred Yorkshire terriers, and she has owned various breeds such as Lurchers, Labradors & Staffordshire Bull Terriers. In 2000 she fulfilled her lifelong dream to own a Dalmatian with the arrival of Perdi, a mistreated & very aloof 18 month old girl, who was undemanding and easy to live with. From then Annie's love of Dalmations just grew! Annie joined Cadelac in 2012 after training her rescue boy Dalmatian “Jasper” who had been given up at just 7 months old by his owners, because he was stubborn and unruly. Annie's next Dalmatian the very intelligent, handsome and incredibly charming Thomas, joining the family in 2013, aged 8 weeks. Thomas is also bilaterally deaf. Annie and Thomas can regularly be seen doing demos in various classes, and also help with private lessons, particularly with reactive behavior cases. Annie also has the pleasure of now owning Thomas’s sister, Fanny. She joined the family at 11 months in late 2013, after her breeder was looking for a home that would continue to compete in showing with her. Annie travels all over the country competing at championship level with her girl, who is regularly placed and has had a very successful career so far. Annie also help out with Dalmatian Welfare organisations.
