Meet Denise

Denise Mcleod owner and founder of CaDeLac Dog training has been training dogs professionally since 1992.  Dog training became her full time career obsession, in January 2001 when CaDeLac became her full time profession.

CaDeLac's methods are modern, kind, positive, reward based and work on building a great relationship and understanding between dog and owner, using fun and education.

Who we are

Denise Mcleod owner and founder of CaDeLac Dog Training (Nottingham) has been training dogs professionally since 1992, full time since January 2001 when CaDeLac became her full time profession. CaDeLac's methods are modern, kind, positive, reward based and work on building a great relationship and understanding between dog and owner, using fun and education.  In September 2016 she published her first book A Dog Behaviourist's Diary and in so doing shot to fame for her 'calming' technique for reactive and frightened dogs, Turn and Face. In 2018 she released her second DVD 'Reactive dog', which now sells globally and in September 2019, she released her second book 'All Six Legs' which is also selling well worldwide. 

What we do

CaDeLac Dog Training Nottingham, offers Dog and Puppy training, obedience and socialisation classes, at all levels.  We also offer private behaviour counselling, private obedience and agility tuition, rehabilitation for dog and people aggressive dogs, dog owner and pre-dog ownership education.  We run education evenings , public talks, clicker training demonstrations/tuition and a variety of one off training courses (instructors, advanced techniques, etc).

Class locations

 

Dog and puppy training classes are held in our purpose built indoor/outdoor training venues, Canine Academy in Tollerton, Nottingham. Other classes are held around the East Midlands, when demand dictates.
